In addition to transactional matters, our business litigation firm has also provided business owners with representation through both routine and complex proceedings, which include:
  • Breaches of Contract
  • Business Torts
  • Deficiencies of Construction
  • Corporate Partnership Issues
  • Real Estate Issues
  • Construction Issues
  • Environmental Issues including Toxic Torts
  • Employer/Employee Disputes
  • Unfair Competition
  • Director and Officer Liabilities
  • Intellectual Property Rights and Disputes
  • Mass Torts

The services that we provide to our business litigation clients also include representation through ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) proceedings. ADR proceedings are a more cost-effective and expedient approach to settling contractual and other legal disputes. And, in some jurisdictions, they are a required measure of resolution that must be taken before the courts will even consent to hearing and ruling upon the matters.

The options of ADR include:
  • Arbitration – This allows disputing parties to present their arguments before an impartial third-party, an arbitrator, who decides how the matter will be resolved.
  • Mediation
  • Conciliation – This is implemented when the disputing parties refuse to meet with one another face to face. The conciliator meets with each of the members of the dispute separately and works as their “go between until a settlement is reached. A conciliator, like a mediator, does not decide the outcome of a matter or make awards of any kind.
